Fair use rationale for Image:Brian Wilson - Love And Mercy.jpg
[edit]Image:Brian Wilson - Love And Mercy.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 16:45, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
Love And Mercy or Love and Mercy?
[edit]Is this article name capitalized properly?--Ilovetopaint (talk) 23:19, 27 July 2013 (UTC)
- According to the guidelines at WP:ALBUMCAPS it is. Jamekae (talk) 06:51, 28 July 2013 (UTC)
Potential move candidate?
[edit]Given "Love and Mercy" (the song) didn't chart and is not hugely notable, should this page be moved to "Love and Mercy (song)" to have "Love and Mercy (film)" moved here to comply with WP:PRIMARYTOPIC? Despite its disambiguated state, the latter article is generating four times the traffic of this one, even while unreleased with little promotion behind it. Regards, Jamekae (talk) 07:00, 28 July 2013 (UTC)
- A bit too early for that; it's not even known if the film will have a major distributor.--Ilovetopaint (talk) 00:09, 29 July 2013 (UTC)
- I'm thinking now's a good time for that and to direct Love and Mercy (film) to Love & Mercy.--Ilovetopaint (talk) 11:17, 25 July 2014 (UTC)
Walking Down the Path of Life
[edit]Does this song really need to be mentioned three times in three different sections in such a short article? Santa Claus of the Future (talk) 01:25, 29 July 2013 (UTC)
Anachronism
[edit]The article says that, "Upon its release The Beach Boys played the song at several of their shows in 1987." Yet earlier it is mentioned that the song was released in July 1988 in the US. Is the latter sentence a mistake, or just badly written? sugarfish (talk) 20:48, 1 July 2015 (UTC)
