Awards and nominations
[edit]The table shows Schoorl being nominated and winning awards under the column Recipient. I have no problem with his winning the Breakthrough Songwriter of the Year at the APRA Music Awards of 2014.
However, he is not the recipient of the ARIA Music Award for Best Pop Release in 2013 by being the record's producer. That award was won by Guy Sebastian and his album, Armageddon. Sure he helped Sebastian win that award but Schoorl was not its recipient.
Similarly, for ARIA Music Awards of 2014, Schoorl is not the recipient of any of the nominations shown in the table despite his song writing and/or production work for the actual recipients.
For example, Song of the Year is a Public-voted category for the most popular song and the nomination relates to the song and its performer: it does not recognise the co-writer or its record producer. The recipient of the nomination is "Borrow My Heart" by Taylor Henderson. ARIA no longer issues any song writing award (discontinued after 1998) and the Producer of the Year final nominees do not include Schoorl.
Schoorl did not receive any final nominations in 2014.
The table is misleading and incorrect. I will delete the entries where Schoorl was a non-recipient.Didier Landner (talk) 20:27, 9 December 2020 (UTC)20:30, 9 December 2020 (UTC)
