Pre-GA review

[edit]

I was asked to provide pre-GA comments. I think the article needs a bit more content. First, what happened to Nora? Second, the part "He was able to convince Nazi doctor Eduard Wirths that he was a doctor and that allowed him to get preferential treatment for himself and Nora. He was sent to Monowitz where he was shaved and tattooed number 117641." feels disjoined, the first sentence does not lead to the second. This should be split, with the first sentence elaborated on, right now it seems like the "preferential treatment" was being sent to Monowitz. The concept of the death march should be linked, and don't we have an article about Holocaust death marches, maybe even that specific one? Another missing link is to the Resistance movement in Auschwitz, assuming we are talking about that camp? If not, a higher level article should be linked. "He has a home" -> Tense. Lastly, references will need cleanup, some are missing information on author/date, all should be standardized to the same format. At least one book is cited without any page range; in general, it is best practice to cite a page, two at best (another book states page 16-?, another has a ~20 page range, that's an entire chapter, more or less). Lastly, Jewishvirtuallibrary is classified as a source of poor reliability, it would be good to replace all the references to it with better ones.
