Killed his own men?

[edit]

At the end of the war, didn't he have hundreds of his men shot by the Feldjägerkorps for cowardice, desertion and malingering? 86.176.8.96 (talk) 11:03, 22 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

He may have, but what's the source for that claim? Peacemaker67 (send... over) 13:52, 22 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Iron Cross

[edit]

Hi,

Colonel General Rendulic NEVER received the Iron Cross version 1914 during the World War I. He received for sure the 1939 version of Iron Cross during Polish Campaign in September 1939. Despite there is a source for the the Iron Cross 1914 version, this source is incorrect. You can check the google pics and you will never see the Clasps for Iron Cross 1914 on his uniform. What you can see, is a ribbon of Iron Cross 2nd Class 1939 version in his button hole.

You can also check the these websites, which has been made with the help of german historian and author Andreas Schulz.
