Number of trucks?
[edit]Is that right? There 163 engines but only 32 trucks (Trucks + Towers + Quints)? That seems low. --plaws (talk) 22:29, 16 February 2015 (UTC)
- @Plaws: Might seem a little low but remember this is for the whole county, lots of rural areas where Engines and patrols are more important. Take the SBCFD for example (my home department). 21 fire engines, 1 truck. --Zackmann08 (talk) 00:43, 17 February 2015 (UTC)
- OK. Just seems weird. The closer to the east coast you get, the ratio gets closer to 3:2 (Engines to Trucks). Thanks! --plaws (talk) 00:48, 17 February 2015 (UTC)
- I totally agree with you. But also the difference between city and suburb. See San Jose Fire Department for example which is 3:1. --Zackmann08 (talk) 00:50, 17 February 2015 (UTC)
