The first paragraph of this entry should read as follows:

"Los Angeles Air Force Base is a United States Air Force Base located in El Segundo, California. Los Angeles Air Force Base houses and supports the headquarters of the Air Force Space Command's Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC). The center manages research, development and acquisition of military space systems."

The base was realinged under Air Force Space Command a few years ago and is no longer under Air Force Material Command.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.107.22.159 (talkcontribs) 07:43, 12 April 2006.

Please note that the coordinates in this article need fixing as: The location given is across the street. The actual coordinates should be: 33.915203, -118375561
