I'm under the impression that the link of USS Indianapolis is not correct.— Preceding unsigned comment added by AstroNomer (talk • contribs) 21:40, 4 December 2001 (UTC)
- Incomplete, not incorrect.— Preceding unsigned comment added by The Epopt (talk • contribs) 00:40, 5 December 2001 (UTC)
- The link was incorrect, because the article linked was incomplete. :)— Preceding unsigned comment added by AstroNomer (talk • contribs) 16:12, 5 December 2001 (UTC)
- It's not the link's fault that whoever wrote the article it pointed to thought that a cruiser that met a horrific end was more interesting that a submarine that never did anything.
So there. Nyah. Phthphthphth!— Preceding unsigned comment added by The Epopt (talk • contribs) 16:37, 5 December 2001 (UTC)- That was uncalled for.TomStar81 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.63.174.254 (talk) 03:04, 21 March 2005 (UTC)

Kph/Mph
Would someone with more math skills than me please translate the kph figures for this class into mph as well? I would really apreciate it. TomStar81 08:07, 21 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Accidents
Hi, I'm a big sub fan, and looking around, it seems to me, that the Los Angeles class (through technical / human errors or sheer number of boats) was involved in a lot of collisions and acidents. For example:
1.Collision between USS Augusta (SSN-710)and soviet K-219 On 3 October 1986 (never solved). 2. Sinking of the japanees mergent trainer Ehime Maru after collision with USS Greeneville 3. USS San Francisco 35 Kn collision with underwater mountain. 4. In May 1996 USS Jacksonville was involved in a collision with a Saudi container ship near the mouth of the Chesepeake bay. 5. On 13 November 2002, Oklahoma City collided with the Leif Hoegh liquified natural gas tanker Norman Lady, east of the Strait of Gibraltar. 6. On January 8, 2007, USS Newport News was surfacing in the Arabian Sea south of the Straits of Hormuz when it hit the Japanese tanker Mogamigawa. ... and more.
it would be nice, if someone would collect these into a chapter/article. Something like "Los Angeles class ince/ aci-dents".— Preceding unsigned comment added by Xigan (talk • contribs) 19:29, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
