I removed:

Moreover he will remain a legendary Hollywood comedian who brought joy and laughter into millions of people's homes as the loveable, lazy Garfield the cat.

Because it isn't encyclopedic, and is not in line with NPOV. Also, can someone expand on why he changed his name to Lorenzo? Spiritual reasons is rather vague. Tuf-Kat 00:54, Jan 30, 2004 (UTC)

TK, I heartily endorse your edits. I have been copyediting this article because it's quite poorly written. --Two Halves

Best known

I think this is quite debatable. I think he would be better known as Carlton the Doorman than the voice of Garfield. It just depends on how old you are. Mike H 01:44, Nov 8, 2004 (UTC)

And a year and a half later, I'm thinking the exact same thing. TCC (talk) (contribs) 04:08, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
And three years further on, I agree.--94.196.22.79 (talk) 17:27, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
After six years of constant griping, I went ahead and DID something about it! (see joke[1])DavidOaks (talk)

Trivia

The trivia item about Mr. Music's last name would be best placed in the main article, although I'm not sure where.LorenzoB 16:59, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

More Trivia

Anyone thought about the fact that Bill Murray played two roles that Lorenzo Music also played -- in reverse order? Murray was Venkman in the film version of Ghostbusters, and then Music did the voice for the same character in the cartoon. Meanwhile, Music was the cartoon voice for the eponymous cat in the cartoon Garfield, while later Murray did the voice of the cat in the CGI/Live film version of Garfield.
