Website Down And Camped

[edit]

His original website seems to have disappeared relatively recently and is presently camped. Not sure if anyone feels it should be removed, or left up in order to see if he manages to re-take it, or if there are other contacts to his work(s) out there. Kurasu (talk) 11:36, 6 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Article start + photo thoughts

[edit]

Whew, done! Will probably need a native speaker to look over the English (as they usually do). On the photo request: While the cover to Body Alchemy: Transsexual Portraits is a self-portrait of Cameron and of fair use in that article, it doesn't seem suitable to use as it's... well, a book cover, and not quite in the tone of biography photos at that. Can't find anything else, though. Amphis 00:07, 28 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Try Loren's website, www.lorencameron.com. I saw a cool one where he's posing dressed in khaki military-styled trousers, combat boots, and is holding two guns, one a pistol and the other is some kind of rifle on top of a roof. Just look for it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.174.137.156 (talk) 14:38, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Height and weight in infobox?

[edit]

Erm, why are these necessary? The actual article makes no mention of them at all. I think I will delete. magentafeelings (talk) 22:24, 29 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed edits to article

[edit]

Hello, I am in a class that is editing LGBTQ+ Wiki articles. My groupmates and I have chosen Loren Cameron and we have been working to make some constructive changes in my sandbox: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/User:PSarahdactyls/sandbox . We will be implementing some of these changes over the next few days. PSarahdactyls (talk) 20:36, 27 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, my classmates and I have made our edits. We decided to get rid of the "Further Reading" section at the bottom, because it was not cited properly and we did not end up having time to search for all the sources. For the convenience of anyone who wishes to do so, I copied all the information into a sandbox: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/User:PSarahdactyls/new-sandbox Thanks. Hello! I am also working on this article within my personal sandbox. I have some issues with the uncited claim about Cameron being featured in the work of other photographers. I believe the issue with the claim is that we do not have permission to cite their photos as proof of this claim, but we do have websites to back this up. For example, One editor referenced Loren Cameron being featured in the work of Danny Nicoletta. I easily found a photo of Cameron on Nicoletta's "Studio Work" page on his website titled "Rex" (Cameron's middle name as referenced in this article). The issue I think is a matter of permission to cite. Is this possible? Thanks. MoltenuniverseSL (talk) 19:13, 29 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
