Under Sorin, the name Betheyn should be added. She was Sorin's unofficial betrothed before he was murdered and was welcomed by Chay and Tobin to live in Radzyn as of 731. She was the daughter of the chief architect and was given by Mydral (Rohan's bastard cousin) the secrets passage ways of all the Desert keeps and fortresses.
- Betheyn was never married to Sorin, so I don't think she should be here, especially given the fact that she and Isriam have more of a story than Beth and Sorin. In Skybowl it was heavily implied that Beth and Isriam would be married, thus removing her from the possibility of listing her under the Lords of Radzyn Keep. The reasoning behind this is the same as putting Tobin and Hollis in Radzyn's catagory instead of another: everyone on this list is related by blood to the current (Chay) or future (Maarken and Rohannon) Lords of Radzyn Keep. I would also like to note that Mydral gave the secret passages to Hollis, Chayla, Tobren, and Betheyn; Hollis had a Sunrunner's memory, Chayla and Tobren were of Zehava's blood, and Betheyn was an architect's daughter, who "would understand the intricate machinery of such secrets" (The Dragon Token, pg 20). The fact that Betheyn had been Sorin's betrothed was why Mydral trusted Beth, but Mydral would not have told Beth had she not possessed an architect's knowledge - nor would she have told Hollis if she weren't needed as a Sunrunner. I do think Beth should have an entry in the Heroines section of the Characters of Dragon Prince article though. User talk:Anarkeya 7/30/06
- Betheyn was not by blood or marriage to the Lords of Radzyn Keep. In the Dragon Star trilogy Betheyn's individual story involves Isriam, not Sorin. Her section should be elsewhere.
- I added Betheyn to the Heroines section of the Characters page. The section can be found here. Anarkeya 17:24, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
