I've looked at what's been going on and don't see a problem with DcD's current version of the article. Everyone should read WP:Tagging.
The person is certainly notable. The specific title Duke of Leinster which he will inherit is actually less important than the fact he is the heir of the once great FitzGeralds of Kildare, and from the extinction of the Earls of Desmond will be head of the entire Geraldine race. There have also been discussions in Ireland among the surviving Gaelic princes and their followers whether the "FitzGerald of Kildare" should be allowed an Irish princely title as well. My sources do not say if the modern House of Kildare claim it, but they are ones the authors mention. For more visit Irish nobility and where it links, and of course FitzGerald dynasty.
