Boasty style
[edit]- LQC has led to many successes, including the emergence of a possible mechanism for cosmic inflation, resolution of gravitational singularities as well as development of effective, semi-classical Hamiltonians.
What kind of "resolution" of gravitational singularities? Why is the emergence of a possible mechanism for X a success? What does Hamiltonians have to do with cosmology, and why is semi-classical Hamiltonians a success compared to classical Hamiltonians? Etc. etc.. The text needs explanations. It currently only makes boasts about things it can do, if those things are really good... ... said: Rursus (mbork³) 22:31, 5 October 2009 (UTC)
LQC has no infinite density, no infinite curvature - no big bang a la GR. Singularity resolved - physics never encounters one. Semi-classical hamiltonians are vital to incorporate quantum effects, and Hamiltonian cosmology is a well established way of expressing classical GR cosmology. 71.58.102.7 (talk) 02:49, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
'loop quantum cosmology' should be merged with 'loop quantum gravity' because they are almost the same thing Qtom.masters (talk) 06:17, 13 December 2011 (UTC)
