Logos
[edit]There is a discussion to clarify our policy/guideline on the use of sports team logos. Please see Wikipedia_talk:Logos#Clarification_on_use_of_sports_team_logos if you wish to participate in the discussion. Johntex\talk 16:26, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
Notable Athletes
[edit]Is it appropriate to include someone who went to a school before it joined the conference? (Grant Teaff i.e.) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.208.104.14 (talk) 22:05, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
Incarnate Word
[edit]Why is Incarnate Word listed as if it was a current conference member? Their membership doesn't start until 2010.Ranucci (talk) 04:05, 13 March 2009 (UTC)
Football Conference champions
[edit]Should I update the conference champions list for football, it is not completely in line with the LSC website's record? (e.g. 1999) I know that the LSC had a unique way of choosing conference and division champions during the division era. I wonder if it would confuse the casual reader to see conference champions that did not win their division as is mandatory in other conferences. (UCO2009bluejay (talk) 05:53, 9 December 2013 (UTC))
Heartland merger
[edit]The Heartland Conference will disband after the 2018-19 academic year. Eight of the nine Heartland members (the exception being Newman University of Wichita, KS) will join the Lone Star Conference. The LSC will then be the largest Div. II conference with 19 members. The Heartland does not sponsor football.
