Heritage

Please add a bit more about his heritage if possible. His surname is typically either Irish or Scottish, yet he is cited as being Jewish. Can someone provide some sources to clarify? Michael 20:56, 26 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Eh, he's definitely Jewish. I'm sure his mother is. His father must've either converted. Or, for all we know, the original non-Jewish O'Brien ancestor married a Jewish woman, and the line's been Jewish ever since. Or they changed the name at some point. Huh, I looked up his posts on his web site, and I basically now know everything there is to know - his mother is Jewish, his father is not.[1] His maternal grandparents were Jews from Austria/Russia[2]. Based on this, presumably his father is Irish, Armenian, Japanese, Filipino, Portuguese, French and Spanish...[3] Mad Jack 07:53, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
