Zoned School for Lockwood

I cannot find a source that explicitly states that middle and high school students in Lockwood attend Virginia City High School. Due to the geography of Storey County, it would be significantly easier for students to attend Reed High school in Washoe County (11 minutes by car), than it would be for them to attend Virginia City High School (43 minutes by car), which would pass by several Washoe County high schools. Many other high school aged students attend a high school in a different county (northern Eureka County attends Battle Mountain High School in Lander County, and all of Esmeralda County attends Tonopah High School in Nye County), so I don't believe it unreasonable for this to be the case for Lockwood. I do not live in the area nor have I any anecdotal evidence to support this claim BrandNewFlavor (talk) 19:18, 26 November 2024 (UTC)
