This article lists Biggle as an oral historian in the lead, but then doesn't talk much more about it. If there's more to say, someone should put it in. --RobthTalkCleanup? 04:33, 6 June 2006 (UTC)
- Biggle served as the president of the Science Fiction Oral History Association until his death in 2002. This is mentioned at the SFOHA website, linked at the bottom of the article. ACW (talk) 02:35, 11 November 2024 (UTC)
Personal life
[edit]Biggle's wife's and children's names are given in an obituary at the Science Fiction Writers of America website, https://www.sfwa.org/2002/09/14/rip-lloyd-biggle-jr-1923-2002/. The obituary was written by his son, Kenneth. I am vaguely aware that we have a pragma against using sources too close to a biographical subject. Does the fact that the obit was written by his son disqualify it as a source? I thought it would be respectful to his family to include their names, as is often done in biographical articles.
