Removal
[edit]I have removed the following passage due to the fact that it is uncited, biased and is obviously personal opinion.
"Llangynog is now mostly seen as a retirement haven, and surely needs new houses built so that the village can survive. Young people of the village are having to move away to find their first homes. There is a proposed development of houses for Llangynog but SOME 'not so local' Residents have objected."
Also, the info on the bowling club seems a bit over-involved. Maybe it could be shortened? Kingbumpkin (talk) 20:17, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
B4391
[edit]The B4391 actually goes from Bala to just outside Llanfyllin (not Llanrhaeadr) so I have edited accordingly Kingbumpkin (talk) 21:04, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
- I've just discovered on my map it actually starts way over at Llan Ffestiniog but the road number disappears for a while near Llyn Celyn, and re-emerges at Bala. However this is going off at a tangent from Llangynog itself so maybe it should get its own page? I'd be tempted to remove the info on the B4391 - it's not really relevant to Llangynog.Kingbumpkin (talk) 20:49, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
I have also removed the following: "on the route between Shrewsbury and the North West of Wales". I think most people would consider the A5 via Oswestry / Chirk / Llangollen / Corwen etc as the main route from Shrewsbury to NW Wales. Kingbumpkin (talk) 21:07, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
