Who make Liu Yung-fu a Brigadier general of Southern Taiwan? Where is this documented?—Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.94.139.24 (talkcontribs)

Republic of Formosa

[edit]

Shouldn't it be the "Republic of Taiwan"? In Chinese, it was 台灣民主國. ludahai 魯大海 07:57, 30 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Also what 65.94.139.24 said was also correct, there has never been proof that Liu Yung-fu was ever made a brigadier general, it is in the wiki page but there has not been any proof.

Ludahai, yes it should be Republic of Taiwan, but Republic of Formosa is also acceptable. It means the same thing. Fattyjwoods (talk) 07:16, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
