– Currently an odd one out, for no apparent reason. Littrow prism, Littrow projection,Littrow angle are all named after Littrow of Vienna long before the Littrow crater. The title (crater) for the crater is consistent with Category:Impact craters on the Moon. In ictu oculi (talk) 09:13, 19 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment. I have no opinion on the requested move. I comment just to point out that, of all the items listed on the DAB page, the crater is the only one that is named simply "Littrow". The others are all "Littrow something". The crater page is the only one that could be named "Littrow" with no additional qualification. That being said, I have no particular objection to the move. • Support. Looking at the disambiguation page, the crater seems obviously named after the surname of someone listed on the disambiguation page. Three biographical subjects on the disambiguation page were astronomers. In fact, there is a possibility that the term "Littrow" may possibly be a WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT for Joseph Johann von Littrow, but the proposed move suffices for now. • Support. This is reversing a previous move, 20:29, 15 April 2015‎ Beeblebrox (talk | contribs | block)‎ . . (37 bytes) (+37)‎ . . (Beeblebrox moved page Littrow (crater) to Littrow: Preparing to move Littrow (crater), the only entry on Littrow (disambiguation) known as "Littrow" without qualification, here). That mover and one comment above are in error. Any of the famous people mentioned in the DAB may be called Littrow, the same as Newton, Descartes, Lincoln, Churchill... I was even referred to as Alder at a school I attended, and still am whenever my conference papers are cited. Andrewa (talk) 11:27, 28 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
