1965 Accident?
[edit]A list of industrial disasters elsewhere on Wikipedia contains the following:
"August 9, 1965: Little Rock AFB in Searcy, Arkansas. 53 contract workers were killed during a fire at a Titan missile silo. The cause of the fire was determined to be a welding rod damaging a hydraulic hose allowing hydraulic vapors to leak and spread throughout the silo, which were then ignited by an open flame source."
I could find nothing about this in the article...Digthepast (talk) 05:35, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
DoD's only C-130 training base?
[edit]The claim "Little Rock AFB is the only C-130 training base for the Department of Defense" appears to be in disagreement with the article Berry Field Air National Guard Base which claims "Berry Field and the 118 AW currently operate the C-130 International Training Center, an AETC activity in support of DoD Foreign Military Sales" and the article Rosecrans Air National Guard Base which claims "The AATTC is a tenant activity at [Rosecrans ANGB] that provides current academic and combat flying tactics and training to C-130 airlift air crews". - The 314th AW provides initial C-130 training for all DoD services. Specialized training is conducted at other AMC affiliated bases using AETC approved syllabi. Text was changed to clarify.--Reedmalloy (talk) 19:35, 31 August 2015 (UTC)
