I am regarded as an expert on the little joe series. "This new Ocean" explains the launch of Little joe one, due to a transient or glitch in the electrics. This is a direct lie.
I have a book from Nasa of all the accidents at Wallop[s Island. The batteries for the little joe were English and were shipped flat and shorted. The little joe worked on a sequencer driven by an electric motor. As they charged the battery in LJ1 on the pad, when sufficient power was put into the battery two workers heard the sequencer whiring and ran. The battery had enough power to initiate the abort sequence and jettison the capsule and tower but not enough to initiate the tower jettison and parachute recovery system, and capsule and tower crashed into the sea. On inspection of the Blue prints for the electrics, the "abort" system had been wired "DIRECT" into the "LIVE" bus-bar. It was inevitable that when the batteries were charged they would ignite the squibs in the abort motors. "This New Ocean" was ignorant of a fact or deliberately hid a big mistake that could have killed two Wallops Island Technicians. Mac, UK |
