[edit]Based on a recent (October 2010) article, I recently added this information to the Floating wind turbine page:
As of 2010[update], Principle Power and electricity provider Energias de Portugal is utilizing the WindFloat design to construct a "three-legged floating foundation designed to accommodate any 5 MW turbine." Completion of construction and installation off of Portugal is expected by the end of summer 2012.[1]
I was unable to locate any article on planned or current offshore wind in either the Atlantic ocean, generally, or off Portugal, more specifically. Not sure at what point a more specific article, or "List of offshore wind farms in Portugal", or "List of offshore wind farms in the Atlantic ocean", might be appropriate. It is clearly only under construction at present; but a lot of the cited information on offshore wind deals with under construction wind farms. Cheers. N2e (talk) 04:37, 6 November 2010 (UTC)
