Naming

[edit]

Shouldn't all the pages linked to from here be at [[List of... national parks]] like the Canadian one is? Angela 01:54, 1 Dec 2003 (UTC)

Either that or [[List of national parks of ...]]. Either way, avoiding the parentheses is much better. --Minesweeper 03:36, Dec 1, 2003 (UTC)

Category:National Parks

[edit]

Category:National parks, which I did not create but have added to. I'm putting this article in that category. I suggest filling the category with the articles in these lists. I'll start, but can't do the whole thing! Gwimpey 17:25, 16 Jun 2004 (UTC)

Someone ruined the list of national parks — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2607:FEA8:3DA0:4ED:8DE:1FF1:AE5A:AFD8 (talk) 20:16, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Removed all the links from the headings as per Manual of Style. If you need to link to a list of national parks in a specific region, do so in a see also, as has been done in africa. skorpion 10:38, 25 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

New Discussion

[edit]

A discussion has been started at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Countries/Lists of countries which could affect the inclusion criteria and title of this and other lists of countries. Editors are invited to participate. Pfainuk talk 13:37, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

the list is not accurate. FOR example the UK does not have any IUCN designated National parks. BUt Nature Parks - the UK gvt says the same. I fixed the wikipedia page on this. BUT NOT THIS PAGE. Here you can see.

Template produces poor PDF (print) output

[edit]

PDF output using Google Chrome's built-in distiller produces poor results with this page. (Use the Ctrl P command in Chrome to preview). Issue may be with the template used or (more likely) the the way content was entered (coded) into the template and saved by the contributor. For example, when printing this article with Google's PDF printer, the first page has too much white (wasted) space; overlap of a table and image occurs on another page. Note that the font size should not dynamically scale up or down to fit a page; font size of the main-body text content should be about 12 points on outputted PDF page(s); it is the images and table cells that should dynamically scale up or down to fit the info box and template in order to maintain the two-column Wikipedia layout. The offending elements appear to be the tables. Refer to this Wikipedia article for a proper printer-friendly layout using tables with images -- https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/List_of_active_German_Navy_ships Printchecker (talk) 16:24, 24 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
