Criteria for adding to the list

[edit]

Is this list intended to be exhaustive? Or are we deliberately keeping it down to the most interesting of the listed buildings? I was about to put in the two listed buildings in Ecclesall woods (the charcoal burner's grave, and a stone bridge [1]) but thought I'd ask before jumping in. --VinceBowdren 22:53, 10 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think that the two criteria for inclusion in this page are to be listed and to be in Sheffield. I have tried to fill out all of the Grade I and Grade II* listed buildings. But I think that Grade II buildings are fairly numerous, and are also often things like mileposts that would be difficult to write an article on, so I have only be added these if I or someone else has written an article about them. --JeremyA 04:39, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I saw the above message but added Cemetery Road Baptist Church even though it is only Grade II as I plan to write an article for it. Also added the link to the Listed Buildings page on Sheffield City Council website but not sure whether I should have linked to the document directly? It's possible that the link might die in future but the page is more likely to be stable - anyway the document link is here: [2] --Andycole 21:57, 10 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The link is fine. I changed the section heading to 'References' and added Images of England—the main site that I have used as a reference for this page. —JeremyA 23:15, 10 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
