Turkish cemeteries

[edit]

What about the Turkish cemeteries ? Jim Sweeney (talk) 08:22, 31 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article attempts to list all war cemeteries and memorials. In contrast to France and the British Empire, Turkey didn't undertake a massive war graves project immediately after the war and so most Turkish graves and burial sites were lost. France is also apparently under-represented for the number of casualties it suffered because it concentrated all of its dead into one big cemetery. Jll (talk) 10:18, 2 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Brown's Dip Cemetery

[edit]

Here is a 1920 photograph of ANZAC graves at Brown's Dip cemetery, Gallipoli Peninsula The photo was published at flickr by The National Archives (United Kingdom). Brown's Dip doesn't seem to be on the List of war cemeteries and memorials on the Gallipoli Peninsula The image is tagged "No known copyright restrictions"...68.165.77.2 (talk) 22:23, 22 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
