Board / Card games

[edit]

Board games and Card games should be listed under "Strategy games".

When you build your game by allocating resources (time, mana, silver, spaceships, armies, whatever) it is just just another form of strategy.

Chess or D&D Lords of Waterdeep, in example, are board strategy games, you build your strategy to win the game.

Magic TG is another form of strategy. Your strategy is the idea/archetype of your deck, the way you play it and so on... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.1.213.96 (talkcontribs)

Upgrade hells?

[edit]

What about games that revolve around the player killing enemies and getting an upgrade each "round" 2603:7080:BC38:F605:C460:F0A4:5847:1ABD (talk) 01:06, 5 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

"Platform games" section expansion

[edit]

There should be more examples of platformers added to the "Platform games" section of the article, such as Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Donkey Kong Country, Crash Bandicoot: Warped, Spyro: Year of the Dragon, Rayman 2: The Great Escape, and other games like that. 2601:407:4181:4260:7DE0:3FC8:4905:ACE4 (talk) 14:55, 21 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

What is the source of all these "definitions"?

[edit]

I read the article and while some sources are cited, most of these definitions are written without any cited source. Are we to believe the person who wrote this Wikipedia-article that his definitions are objectively correct just so? Weird, considering how much value Wikipedia otherwise puts on sourced material.

Also, the genre "JRPG" is missing entirely. 2003:D8:8F3F:5200:6491:D825:C2C4:90B3 (talk) 21:40, 11 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Any Wikipedia admins seeing this? Don't wanna sound aggressive, but I'm still curious, thx. 2003:D8:8F3F:5200:6491:D825:C2C4:90B3 (talk) 17:13, 13 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
