Recommendation

[edit]

I would be good to see somewhere a discussion of the similarities and differeneces of thes organizations, particularly how all the numerous U.S. organizations differ from one another, there relative size, etc. - 58.161.226.94 07:21, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Name change

[edit]

I recommend moving this article to "List of veterans organizations". Searching on google, it seems more commonly refered to as "veterans organizations" vice "veterans' organizations". Thanks. FieldMarine (talk) 15:52, 22 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

American Red Cross

[edit]

Why is the American Red Cross listed as a veterans organization? Tiyang (talk) 02:04, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Not list, I don't think it's specifically a vets organization. Here's their mission statement. Semper Fi! FieldMarine (talk) 12:25, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, Marine. And THANKS! I'm an AF Vet. Respectfully, Tiyang (talk) 06:51, 5 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Why is American Corporate Partners on the list of Veterans Organizations? Respectfully, Tiyang (talk) 22:09, 5 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Inclusion criteria?

[edit]

What exactly are the inclusion criteria for this list? It should not be an indiscriminate list of any organisation that has anything to do with veterans, per WP:NOTDIRECTORY and WP:INDISCRIMINATE.--ukexpat (talk) 21:55, 4 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
