Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. cyberdog958Talk 00:06, 24 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

'Primary Language' Overhaul

[edit]

Since YouTube added the new "Audio Tracks" feature, I think the 'primary language' section could need an update. Channels like MrBeast for example don't really have a 'primary language' anymore, since other languages such as Spanish, Arabic, etc. combined gain more views than just English alone. A 'original language' section would fit better for the channels using this feature. Other channels though (e.g. T-Series) have a 'primary language' since they mostly upload Hindi content, other language content being a minority. 'Original language' would not fit these channels. And then there are channels with just a single content language (e.g. Cocomelon), often English. 'Original language' would also not make sense for those. Additionally, naming all audio track languages channels like MrBeast have would be way too much, since there are more than 30 in total (mostly on Shorts).

Any ideas on how to fix this problem? Knglcs (talk) 12:08, 30 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
