This currently relies on quite a few images from Flickr as the only source for quite a few statues as verification of their existence. If the images aren't free there, then it's a problem. If they are removed by the uploader, that will become an issue. I would suggest that free photos be uploaded locally (Wiki Commons) in instances where there are undoubtedly no copyright violations... but PLEASE make certain that any local uploads are legal. --Iryna Harpy (talk) 21:02, 8 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Wondering if statues should be categorized into present/past either as the top-level category or as a subcategory for each country they exist in, as I came to this page wondering "which statues of Stalin have not been torn down as a result of De-Stalinization"
