Problems with data

[edit]
Why when I sort by capacity descending does the number 45 location go to top with a capacity of 100,000 when Indianapolis Motor Speedway (the number one location by capacity) is much further down the list? Is the capacity sorting broken? --64.127.136.202 (talk) 18:39, 16 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Why is Circuit de la Sarthe listed twice, with two very different capcities? --Colapeninsula (talk) 10:22, 16 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

May/June 2015 Overhaul

[edit]

This article is very much out of date. Capacities have changed, stadiums are missing, numbering is off, etc. Significant overhaul of information and sources is required. Many sources are now dead links or provide conflicting information. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dingomate (talkcontribs) 14:16, 20 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

article has major problems that probably cannot be fixed

[edit]

This article claims to be a list "by capacity", but unfortunately it's not using a consistant definition of capacity. For instance, the number given for Indianapolis Motor Speedway is permanant seats (it's capacity is over 300,000 counting campers, etc, in the infield); while that given for the Circuit du Sarthe is total capacity including campers, etc (permanent seating is around 100,000). Michigan stadium's capacity as given is seating for football (it's primary use), but they have accomdated several thousand more for temporary events such as ice hockey. The same can be said for most of the venues listed.

However, given the multiple uses of most of these facilities, and the general reluctance of their owners to be specific about their seating, it's unlikely this can be resolved in a list of this nature. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:589:380:130B:3970:68CA:FDB:A0D6 (talk) 21:16, 11 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Davis Wade Stadium Capacity…

[edit]

…is incorrect on this list. Sympathy4theDawg (talk) 01:33, 30 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Lumen Field

[edit]

Why is Lumen field not included? it has a seating capacity of 68,740, I have already added it but its weird its not included 2601:601:CD00:10:8F46:55AA:A4F7:4606 (talk) 00:57, 15 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

sorry, Lumen field was added, it was just under the name of Century link field, which is its old name, i'll change that, its seating capacity was also wrong, i'll change that as well. 2601:601:CD00:10:2811:A101:2FDF:A4A0 (talk) 01:10, 15 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
