[edit]

It seems like the World Bank has published newer data of GNI (nominal) per capita for 2009.

Latvia and Poland:

Why Latvia and Poland are green, if they are 'high income economies'? Also high income is not considered to be above USD 12,196, rather than USD 11.906, as suggested in the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.12.173.9 (talk) 07:38, 29 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

scripts for updating data

[edit]

shell script available for updating the map, and ruby script available for updating the table here:

https://github.com/HLLNSTN/wikipedia-european-stats-map

all that's needed is a copy and paste from the world bank website to a plain text editor, and a few tweaks to the colour coding ranges in the map script
