Genus name with s species given.

Many lines have a species name listed next to a genus. This is incorrect. Many articles might redirect to the only species when it's a monotypic taxon, but a species is not a genus. Regards, Sun Creator^(talk) 14:20, 12 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I followed the patter in List of bird genera and List of mammal genera, wherein if a genera had a common name or if it had only one species and a common name, the common name was used with the genera. Jason Harvestdancer | Talk to me 23:03, 15 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Maintenance

It's not clear what source covers a line unless sources are added explicitly and really a source per line is desirable with a PAGENUM. Maintenance of this article will soon get dated because each year next taxon are added and existing ones changed or rolled into another.
