SP status in Karnataka

[edit]

Does SP has state party recognition in Karnataka?. I doubt. If it is correct it would easily become a national party having recognized in 4 sates. Clarify.Manjithkaini 20:43, 1 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

According to ECI ([1]), SP is not a state party in Karnataka. --Soman 07:48, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Kanshiram is no more

[edit]

Since Kanshiram is no more, the list needs to be updated. Who's the de jure president for BSP now? -- Sundar \talk \contribs 07:27, 17 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Update, work needed

[edit]

I've update the list, along with changes in recognitions. The reference is now the situation at the 2009 general election. Several parties now lack symbols, leaders names and foundation dates. Any assistance would be appreciated. --Soman (talk) 19:37, 21 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Map used

[edit]

The map shows India as of 2012, not 2009. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 116.203.172.182 (talk) 04:08, 23 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Merge

[edit]

I think this article can be brought under a section titled as recognized parties in the article List of political parties in India and other section can have parties that are accepted but non-recognized parties according to Election Commission of India.
