Missing professions

I have included these professions, they weren't currently in the list. (2014-07-19 edits)

I have added sections for main professional categories for: Academia professions, Cultural professions, Health professions, Industry professions, Public service professions, Science professions, Transport professions (2014-07-18 edit)

How have you selected these? For example, why specifically virologists but not microbiologists in general? I agree virologists should be included but there are lots of other sub-sets of scientist which are not included. It just seems rather arbitrary. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 152.71.207.142 (talk) 17:09, 19 August 2014 (UTC)

In what way is journalism a profession? Journalists have long resisted being defined as a profession because of what it entails (licensing, censure, formalized education, etc.). There's no way journalism is a profession in the literal sense that this list is used for. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.81.176.200 (talk) 21:16, 29 August 2014 (UTC)

A lot of the professions that you have added are not within the defintion described in the profession article. For example, out of the existing entries which of these is

1.an occupation becomes a full-time occupation
2.the establishment of a training school
3.the establishment of a university school
4.the establishment of a local association
5.the establishment of a national association
6.the introduction of codes of professional ethics
7.the establishment of state licensing laws — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.171.131.160 (talk) 22:14, 2 February 2015 (UTC)
