Bud Day - only escapee from Vietnam

[edit]

I have tagged this a dubious....From Day's Wikibio, it has no indication he was the first or only American escapee to make it back to S.Vietnam....in fact, I've always understood that Nick Rowe (US Army Special Forces) was the only one to make it back during the war...Engr105th (talk) 06:35, 9 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

According to James N. Rowe, he was held prisoner in South Vietnam, so that doesn't disprove the claim. On the other hand, I can't find anything to support it, so I'll take it out. Clarityfiend (talk) 12:49, 12 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
