[edit]Can there be more explanation about the "colours" of the political parties, which play a large role in the political life of the Republic? – Kaihsu 14:12, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
Inclusion of the PED
[edit]As many of you might have heard (or read), the grandson of the former dictator of the Dominican Republic Rafael Leonidas Trujillo, Luis Jose "Ramfis" Dominguez Trujillo, asked the Central Electoral Board to grant political party status to his Democratic Hope Party (PED for its acronym in Spanish); request that was recently granted by the Board on June 9, 2023.
Would it be correct to include this party in the list? And I'm not asking because of whether it's morally right or not, but because there's a certain miasma of controversy about whether or not this decision would be a subject for an appeal. Rvzack (talk) 13:08, 23 June 2023 (UTC)
