Propose Move
[edit]The standard title for such articles is "List of people from.........". This will enable it to be correctly incorporated in the Category heirachy. Accordingly propose a move to - List of people from Berkhamsted. Typical redirects would link 'residents of', 'those living in' etc, please discuss.Tmol42 (talk) 19:50, 28 December 2014 (UTC)
- I agree(was not sure what I was doing), please can you proceed, as you are more likely to do it correctly -- BOD -- 21:00, 28 December 2014 (UTC)
- Question - If the page is now "List of people from Berko" , what is the best way to include those folks who moved to Berko or those famous folk who held the castle, or do we delete them? -- BOD -- 21:27, 28 December 2014 (UTC)
- The typical way is to create one or more articles such as 'List of residents of Berkhamsted' and 'Notable residents of Berkhamsted' and possibly, List of Berkhamsted people' and then include a redirect to this page. I would include the Castle residents here unless they are primerily listed on the Castle page. Tmol42 (talk) 22:03, 28 December 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks, will do later in week -- BOD -- 23:10, 28 December 2014 (UTC)
