This is a partial listing of alumni and present and former professors and teachers of the Royal Academy of Music, London. I think there could be a section with names of people who have received honors from the RAM.--Karljoos (talk) 08:33, 14 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Adding names

[edit]

Suggestion: please be sure that the person you add has an article, and remember the list is a list of NOTABLE alumni and staff. If want to add persons who studied or taught at the RAM but do not meet the criteria of notability for an article on Wikipedia, then they also do not meet the (basic) notability criteria to be on the list. If they do meet the criteria then please start a new article about the alumni or staff member and then add the name to the list, otherwise the list will be full of people no one will know who they are, the reasons why they are notable alumni and the list will be full of the "ugly red characters". Thank you --Karljoos (talk) 11:43, 8 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Bold Type

[edit]

I suggest we remove it. It was intended to convey some special 'notability' which defeats the idea of NPOV. I'd probably include, inter alia, Edward German, Eric Coates and William Alwyn under that criterionStevew2022 (talk) 22:21, 10 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
