Gallium
[edit]Gallium should also have a -3 state from gallane. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 22:12, 15 February 2019 (UTC)
- Let's ask User:Burzuchius -DePiep (talk) 00:01, 16 February 2019 (UTC)
- In gallane, gallium has the oxidation state +3, since gallium is less electronegative than hydrogen. However, the oxidation state −3 for gallium is mentioned in LaGa in [1]. Burzuchius (talk) 09:26, 16 February 2019 (UTC)
- Ga(-3) is added with source [2]. -DePiep (talk) 20:06, 16 February 2019 (UTC)

Merge into topic article?
[edit]Could we merge this list into Oxidation state? Maybe ten years ago it was too big for a single page, but today no more. -DePiep (talk) 08:36, 19 February 2019 (UTC)
- Now formally proposed this, talk is here. -DePiep (talk) 09:58, 2 March 2019 (UTC)
- Done -DePiep (talk) 14:56, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
