@John B123: Hi, thanks for reviewing this article and many other in this series I have been working on! I have been collaborating with the WP:HWY/LA team, and I'm using the official Ministry of Public Works and Transport SIG as the reference for this series as it is probably the only place which is documenting these roads, whenever there are news about a specific road I try to complement their wiki article, but being a undeveloped country, that's as far as references as we can do. National Route 700 (Costa Rica) also has the same notice but, I can't do anything more, that route was created recently and I noticed it when querying the JSON at the MOPT's SIG. I added a direct link to the OSM-layered map that the MOPT published, and that's it. That's equivalent to the Topologically Integrated Geographic Encoding and Referencing of the United States, I know, very sad, but it is what it is. We use that as reference at OpenStreetMap as well. :( --Roqz (talk) 21:42, 22 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Roqz. I see the problem. Whilst it's not quite "by he book", I think it's the best that can be achieved at present, so have removed the tags. (On a side note, I was planning a holiday to Costa Rica this year but covid put paid to that). Regards. --John B123 (talk) 21:55, 22 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks John_B123! Yes, sadly there isn't much that can be done, but on the other side, just by that resource we were able to give total coverage to the routes of Costa Rica, very few countries in Latin America have such level of documentation in the topic, and we are complementing that on the Wikidata and OSM projects as well. I'm starting to replicate the effort on Wikipedia Español too. But, there are no support team like WP:HWY/LA. :( Regarding your holiday, I think by November all USA routes will be open, and I think Europe as well, there are direct trips through British Airways, but I don't know it they are available again, I know Spain's Iberia does. Tico Times is an up to date resource, I see that as of today the COVID tests are no longer required for tourists. Any questions just let me know, Wikivoyage is somewhat complete in some areas too. --Roqz (talk) 22:05, 22 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
