Comments from Hari

[edit]

This is a very useful list for Vaishnavites. The link provided under References is also the source for this list. It contains the 1000 names of Lord Vishnu which is a very useful piece of information for Vaishnavites and would be a very appropriate article under the Vaishnavism category.

I will mention the source at the top of the article. Please indicate if the article needs any other changes in order to survive.

No the article will survive. I'm glad to see you only selected 80 of the 1000 names, that is a good move. You might find some commentary on the major names (if there is a differentiation). Also, it wouldn't hurt to add things like who first uttered (created) a name or any interesting historal oddities about names (if Vishnu is a male deity, a name that is in a neuter gender might be interesting). Merged with Vishnu Sahasranama

[edit]

I have merged this article, which only had the (schwa-deleted) names of Vishnu from the Vishnu Sahasranama, with the main article, which has a table with an accurate rendering of the names of the deity. Chronikhiles (talk) 08:44, 30 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
