What is the plan for smaller (by number) families ? Shyamal 11:08, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
- Are you in a hurry! :-) Feel free to contribute. All families will have a specific list page. Butterflies are still not done, after two years, we've just about stabilised some families. Hesperiids and Satyriines have not yet been touched. Moths is going to be a very long hard struggle. Regards, AshLin 15:38, 9 July 2007 (UTC)

16 Sphingidae Family, Theretra clotho clotho. In this species, the oblique line runs into the one that comes in from the wing tip. In the closely related Theretra gnoma, the oblique line and that coming in from the wing tip miss each other, giving a double effect near the wing tip.

Yes, maybe you noticed: Pyralidae are still missing in this list. Maybe an idea for somebody who's got the time?
Here is a good base to start that section: George Mathew, AN INVENTORY OF INDIAN PYRALIDS (LEPIDOPTERA: PYRALIDAE). Zoos' Print Journal 21(5): 2245-2258 best regards user:Tonton Bernardo
