Comment My personal preference would be to delete List of U-boat aces and add a redirect. First, the list only denotes commanders of World War II, which I find misleading. Second, the first 10 commanders of List of successful U-boat commanders#World War II are identical to the 10 men listed on List of U-boat aces. The only additional value added is a synopsis of their achievements which can be found on the individual articles as well. The term ace is somewhat undefined in context of U boat commanders. In aerial warfare 5 victories make a pilot an ace. How is this defined in naval warfare? 5 ships sunk? 50.000 tons of shipping destroyed? MisterBee1966 (talk) 08:22, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Comment the list was renamed from "Aces of the Deep" to "List of U-boat aces" in Jan 2008, which is why it doesn't make sense.
