What about Sweet and Lowdown, by Woody Allen? --Robotkarel (talk) 22:22, 6 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Made in Secret

[edit]

There's no reference as to why Made in Secret is 'fictitious', when in reality it's quite real. Unless somebody is going to provide a reason for it being here i'm going to remove the entry. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.243.182.121 (talk) 15:33, 12 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Future is Wild, Alien Planet, & Earth 2100

[edit]

Why aren't these mentioned anywhere on this page?

Films that only partially use the premise.

[edit]

Cannibal Holocaust: Most of the film is pretty much told as a straight film, with a guy going to South America to find the footage. This is not done in a documentary style (although there are little touches such as voice overs, etc). We do see the "found footage", true, but that does not make the entire film a mockumentary. District 9: Yes, the first half is 100% mockumentary. However, once our "hero" is infected and on the run it gives up on that premise. A number of other films/TV shows have been taken out of this list because they mimic documentaries (say Arrested Development) but do not pretend that these people are being filmed the whole time. 124.183.134.230 (talk) 05:22, 24 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think the creation of the "Found Footage" sections, and the inclusion of Arrested Development, addresses this concern, if you happen to still be active 10 years later. JeanLackE (talk) 14:09, 21 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Megan is missing

[edit]

If it's classified as a mockumentary, are the photos on http://deveghepatriei.wordpress.com/2011/07/11/va-avertizam-ca-urmatorul-articol-contine-imagini-deosebit-de-socante-ce-va-pot-afecta-in-plan-psihic-adevarata-fata-a-retelelor-de-pedofilie-si-prostititutie-in-atentia-domnisoarele-de-13-14-15/ just fakes? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.226.31.161 (talk) 19:50, 11 July 2011 (UTC) the photos are fake because Megan is missing is a fiction drama/horror based on several child abduction cases about the internet to prove how dangerous it is to meet someone on the internet you don't know and it also shows what could happen if you were abducted — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.157.157.247 (talk) 16:47, 18 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Multicolumn list

[edit]

Hi there,

I'm wondering if anyone cares if I put this list into a multicolumn list with year, date, description, &c. instead of its current (alphabetical) format. I think the use-case is clear, because multiple items are of interest here (see MOS:LIST)---I came to this article trying to find out what mockumentaries looked like around 2000, for instance. I'm willing to do the work myself as long as nobody finds the change offensive. Let me know.

BBC3 / Rob Farquhar

[edit]

Worth a mention of these from the early 2000/? Dale’s Wedding, Sex Lies and Michael Aspel, and the David Ginola one?

FWIW I’d agree presenting these in table format would help.
