COI edit request: missing mayors

[edit]

Hi. I've got some citations for some of the 20th century mayors who are missing, but I shouldn't add them myself because two of them (as well as one who is already listed) are my ancestors and namesakes.

Please change:

  • W. Marshall King, ca.1940[1]

to:

  • Josiah P. Rowe, Sr. 1912–1920Cite error: The <ref> tag has too many names (see the help page).

In addition, the Josiah Rowe who served as mayor from 1964–1972 (my father) should be listed as Josiah P. Rowe III, to avoid confusion with his father and grandfather. (And while we're at it, we can properly format the citation to the Friends of the Rappahannock oral history.) So, please change:

  • Josiah Rowe, 1964–1972[5][1]

to:

  • Josiah P. Rowe, III, 1964–1972[6][7]

Thank you. — Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 19:04, 19 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
