Echoing the discussion at Flower mantis, we need to be sure to use only reliable sources for taxa in this list. The article's lead states "For citation of common nomenclature and additional references, see individual articles." so I am removing refs for common names from this list now. Primary reference source

As the primary source used in this article (ToL) dates from 2003 from a website that stopped updating its pages in 2011, I propose to switch the taxonomy used in the list to the classification of Schwarz & Roy (2019) as reflected in the Mantodea Species File Online (MSF), currently at version 5.0.
