The Simpson's are on Fox, so I don't believe that qualifies as "cable" Bjewiki 00:07, 12 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Move discussion in progress

[edit]

There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:List of longest-running UK television programmes which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 14:20, 18 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

There's no tv-series named "Power Rangers"

[edit]

There're lot of tv-series containing the phrase "Power Rangers" in their title but there's nothing official that's just titled "Power Rangers" & as far as i know none of them have more than 3 seasons. Dork...

  • In this case, the link to the show explains what the title of each season was. And the different networks the show was broadcast on. It's also heavily marketed for re-broadcast right's as one program. dreiss2 (talk) 23:10, 2 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Season definition

[edit]

Please be careful when adding new series to this list, especially with series like Chopped which seem to define any time they're in the studio for a few weeks as a 'season'. There is no reason it should be using that definition in this article and somehow topping true long-runners from the 70s, when 'year by year' measurement is more accurate, and honest.
