Agreed. But some of the names of lakes have to be corrected by capitalisng the "L" in lake as per convention. In Jammu and Kasmmir all four lakes have individual articles but two of them Pangong Tso and Tso Moriri do not end with Lakes. As regards city lakes, please merge or remove them since names of all the individual lakes appear under the list of concerned states.Wherever lake term was used, I changed it to Lakes but wherever articles have already been created with the lower case the necessary conversion may have to be done by Admn.--Nvvchar (talk) 15:07, 11 September 2008 (UTC)

Proper format to be followed for editing

Hi, When going through this article, i found many inconsistencies across the page. We need to follow some common format to make it look more readable and informative. As for now, i have sorted all the names (under each category) in alphabetically sorted order (A to Z). Also, i have tried to keep a single convention when putting the bullets (use '*', then a single space, and then the name of the lake). Request all editors to follow the same (or suggest better options) for better readability. Vishal0soni (talk) 09:26, 20 January 2015 (UTC)

Or maybe we can make a table?

One more thing, can we add the map location such that when hovered over the name of lake it shows it's location in the state rather than showing a picuture of water body(lake itself). I feel it would be more informative.
