The MedInst template
[edit]I recommend that the MedInst template be placed at the bottom of all the articles in this series. In other articles on Wikipedia the bottom is the place for such a template. A reader who is reading the article may or may not care about other articles in the series. I believe the first thing they want to know is "What is this article about?". Then from there one would go into more detail and specific ideas. In most articles we do offer internal links to other subjects covered in Wikipedia, through out the article, but when one wants to find other sources of internal links(see also), or where the info of the article came from(references), or other places on the internet that talk about this topic(external links), readers look to the bottom. A template like this is like the "see also" section, in that it points you to other similar topics. In the interest of consistency in Wikipedia, and general flow of the article it is best that we put the template at the bottom.R00m c (talk) 01:53, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
- After waiting 12 days for a response, I went ahead and made this change. If this change proves to be controversial please feel free to undo this series of edits, but also offer a rational as to why we should do this differently. Thanks. R00m c (talk) 00:38, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
- New layout does look better, I must concede. Originally I was trying to emulate the inspiration of this series: "the list of medical abbreviations." sarindam7 (talk) 17:17, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
