Several wrong entries

[edit]

I can't help but notice that several of the festivals listed are... simply not festivals...?Especially the events listed in the US are almost all meet-ups (of a former internet forum, Disney fans who are also goths etc.) but not festivals, since no actual bands perform live. The cruise is equally debatable, since it also doesn't seem to feature any live music and rather just DJ sets. Finally, one of the events is a comic convention(?) about dark comic characters(?), so it has nothing to do with gothic OR festivals.

Basically, dear Americans: we know you don't have any actual gothic festivals to speak of. We think that it sucks as well. But the solution to that is establishing actual gothic festivals in the US, not vandalising this wikipedia article by adding random events that don't fit the category just to make it SEEM like there are serious gothic festivals in the US.

I will remove the entries that don't belong here and check back in semi-regularly to ensure that they stay removed. Thank you 87.159.152.156 (talk) 15:26, 12 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
